The authors define activities included in the building construction process of a standard project, formulate an adjacency matrix using the relationships among activities, and structurize the activities using its reachability matrix. As a result, the building construction process is expressed by process models of categories, such as schedule control, cost control, building system design, and so on. These models can clarify how the activities interact with one another. Effectiveness of the model is then discussed as tools of concurrent engineering.
