This paper aims to elucidate prototypes in a work of Le Corbusier's "Eglise Saint Pierre" at Firminy as architectural seeing of the 'paysage (landscape)'. This study investigates the geometric box and the spiral ramp as the first two prototypes. These prototypes compose a paysage and develop the architectural language. This process is an acquisition of the 'vertical' paysage at the lowest point of the basin. The essential for Le Corbusier is a realization of 'harmony' in paysage. This harmony, resounding the universal tone, was realized by prototypes which can be applied to 'anywhere', and defined concretely 'in situ' by existing paysage.
